Township Board Members

 Joann is a retired teacher having taught in the MCCSC for 30 years and then as an adjunct professor at Indiana University supervising student teachers for 10 years.
Joann’s husband, Frank Calabrese, was elected as a member of the Clear Creek Township board in November 2022.  Frank died following a short illness in February 2023, and Joann was named to fill his position.  

Joann is Democratic Precinct Committee person in Clear Creek #2.     

 Dustin is a lifelong resident of Clear Creek Township. He became a member of the Monroe County Fire Department in July 2006 and has collaborated with seven different townships as they merged into the fire district. Throughout his professional journey, he has engaged with numerous township trustees and understands the significance of local governance.

Dustin currently serves as your Republican Precinct Committeeman for Clear Creek #2. 

 Thelma is one of a few recipients of the Distinguished Hoosier Award.  

Governor Frank O'Bannon awarded Thelma with one of the highest awards given by the State of Indiana to its citizens. 

 Elected in 1990 and took office in January 1991. Re-elected in 1994, 1998, 2002, 2006, 2010, 2014, and 2018.

• Certified LEVEL 2 (Commercial) Appraiser, State of Indiana

Community Contributions:

• Collaborated on the construction of the basketball court and shelter, and the Haunted House in Harrodsburg.
• Contributed to the development of the Harrodsburg Community Center.
• Assisted in establishing the Harrodsburg Heritage Days Association.
• Helped create the Smithville Area Association.
• Supported the Harrodsburg Community Center Project.
• Filed a lawsuit against CSX for possession of old rail beds.
• Aided in the Harrodsburg Sewer Project.
• Assisted with emergency management during the installation of warning sirens.
• Contributed to the renovation of Redman Hall (Smithville).
• Supported the Smithville Community Center Project.
